Ringo finds solace in exercise to gain control over his messed-up life. With success at school looking out of reach Ringo steals an exam paper, much to Rachel and Zeke’s horror. Rachel tries to return the stolen paper for him but doesn’t manage it. Will she be found out? The launch is a success and in return, Miranda asks Tony to help Steph impress fellow councillors. Steph’s over-the-moon but Steve has a touch of the green eye regarding his wife’s easy rapport with Tony. Deciding to show Miranda that he can compete, Steve gets to work in the kitchen...Steph’s unofficial Council meeting at Charlie’s enhances her political sway. Having impressed all, Steph intends to put Stingray’s Memorial Wall back on the council agenda, but is faced with a political and personal dilemma when she realises she may be forced to break a campaign promise despite her best intentions to fulfil it. Mickey’s down-hearted and Ned fears his son may be missing Kirsten. When Lou overhears Mickey’s disappointment at not having his pen licence, he discloses all to Ned and Janae. After a night of intensive writing practice all celebrate when gleeful Mickey graduates from pencil.
