It sounds like you are suffering from depression, so I would suggest talking to your doctor about getting some counselling to talk about your feelings. If you can’t get an appointment as quickly as you would like then call the Samaritans who provide 24 hour support if you need to discuss how you are feeling: 08457 90 90 90.

All of what you are experiencing is indicating that you are depressed. Is there anything in your life that has triggered this or are you just generally feeling down? Often it can be a result of something outside of your control or it could be because your diet is making you sluggish and tired all the time and so feeling like you don’t have the energy to do anything. Sometimes when you are bored this can make you focus on the things you are not really happy with in your life, so try and find yourself a hobby to take you mind off things and make sure you are exercising to get those endorphins going and help you into happiness the natural way. It is a vicious cycle, feeling down can make you angry which can make you cry. If you feel yourself getting low, then try to divert your attention to something productive. If you are feeling alone why not join a club so you can meet peoples we as doing an activity? Don’t be alone in this try every way you can to get out and find people who will support you and do things with you on a regular basis.

Cameron says:

These are classic signs of depression, go and see your doctor about this and they can help you. Mood swings and low confidence are hallmarks of this. Right now, you need to get some help, be that professional, medical or simply having your friends and family help. You also need to find something that makes you happy, be that painting, films or climbing mountains. Focus on this and it will help you a little bit. Try exercise too, the endorphin release will help lift your mood and also the personal improvement will increase your feeling of self. Don’t try and take this on alone and stay away from alcohol, both of these will only make the situation worse.
