Hi, I was seeing a fella for seven months, we had a great relationship and had lots of fun, we never argued and saw each other all the time. one month ago he sent me a text message to say it was over, we had no row or argument nor anything, he has since refused to answer my calls but one day he replied to a message saying that he just wants to be single thats its nothing i did, he just doesnt want a relationship. I am gutted and i want him back.. is there anything i can do to get him back? i havent contacted him in two weeks.

He may have enjoyed the time he had with you, as a friend more than a partner and didn’t see it the way you did. Perhaps you spent too much time together and it became a bit stifling for him, as he may have needed some space, which is why he wants to be on his own for a while now.
Yang replies
If you got back together then the same problem would be there, he might go out with you for another few months and then decide that he wants to be alone again. I would move on and find someone who does want to be in a relationship and try to forget about what could have been. You run the risk of being hurt twice, don’t set yourself up for it. If it hurts now, it will hurt a lot more if he does it again.
