Perhaps honesty is the best policy here so you don't lead him on. Try to be kind in your reasons so he is not too deflated for his next relationship however you also need to be clear that you won't change your mind. Just because he is not right for you doesn't mean that he won't be right for someone else. What are your reasons? If you are equipped with these before you see him, it may make it easier as any confusion may give him hope.
If you don't tell him then he may continue his pursuit and the longer this goes on the more drawn he may become to you.
It is always hard to find out that someone you are attracted to doesn't feel the same way back. However it may be kinder to tell him the truth and encourage him move on rather than letting him think that there might be something in this.
