When was the last time you did something for the first time?
Such a great question. How often, in our busy lives, do we find ourselves automatically doing the same thing in the same way – every single day? We are creatures of habit and that gives us comfort. Sometimes – just occasionally – stepping outside our comfort zone wakes us up! It jumpstarts our brains, activates our nervous system, makes us more alert and makes us feel alive.
Challenge yourself to do something today that you have never done before. It doesn’t have to big: eat a different breakfast, go to work a different way, speak to someone you don’t know. Or go big! Plan an adventure weekend away – or even two weeks away doing something you wouldn’t normally do. Go on, I dare you.
