What Do You Argue About On Holiday?

Latedeals.co.uk have uncovered the top ten reasons behind couples arguments have been exposed and the results are quite surprising!

A massive 79 per cent of couples admit to having at least two big arguments over the duration of the holiday, with a further 62 per cent saying that they argue daily.

Men are notorious for their wandering eyes so it’s no surprise that this was what caused the most arguments between couples.

Second place went to men wanting to go and do something whereas women would rather lounge around, followed by where to eat and drink on the holiday.

Driving causes enough arguments at home so it’s no wonder map reading and driving made the top ten holiday spats, as well as packing with men accused of packing too little and women too much.

Holidays are supposed to be easy going, but women are still taking their time dressing for dinner, something that made number seven in the list.

Money was a big issue and caused quite a few arguments for couples. The eighth most popular arguing point was how much money was being spent and the tenth most popular was how much currency to get changed and where.

Time keeping is essential on holidays and that explains why the ninth most popular arguing point was getting to the airports in time to catch flights.

Calum Macdonald of Latedeals said, “Everybody has their own idea of what makes the perfect break, and when you clash on these ideals arguments can break out.

“It's shocking to discover how much couples actually do argue when abroad.

“Not surprisingly the answer is to compromise, possibly finding resorts which offer a range of activities to suit all tastes so that no one feels they are not being satisfied.”
