Would you Leave your Love Life in Someone Else's Hands?

Take Me Out contestant Naomi Hewston has blasted the dating show after she claimed the producers told her to pick a man she didn't fancy.

The game show centres around one man who is judged by 30 women who use their red light to show if they're turned off or turned on.

Once the man has got to the third round he then narrows down the remaining ladies until he has his date.

Naomi said she was told to keep her light on by the show's producers or else she would be kicked off the show.

Would you make the mistake of letting someone else choose your date like Naomi, or do you think it could find you the love of your life?

Going on a blind date could lead you to the love of your life. They're ideal because you'll be dating someone that you may not necessarily have picked before.

This can be good in some cases and they'll be outside your normal type, and you've got to remember that you're single because it hasn't worked out with your normal type before!

There is of course, when it isn't such a good idea. You could find yourself having to sit through dinner with a complete nutter.

Or, you could simply end up on a date with someone who you are completely incompatible with.

Here are some simple tips to keep you on the straight and narrow!

- If a friend is setting you up on a date, make sure that the friend you choose knows you well and will get it right!

- Don't go straight out for dinner, try drinks first as if it's going badly you can at least say that you have somewhere you need to be.

- Have a friend on standby to call you in case you have to get out of there pronto!
