Hillarys found that household incidents and chores are responsible for the demise of some relationships- so I give my thoughts as to why the top five bugbears can wear a person down. Dedicated to all the laundry pickers, dish and clothes washers out there- you're not alone.
Relationships on Female First
Neglected washing up - You partner is not at university anymore- this is no longer acceptable- nor is it a competition to see how high they can pile utensils and crockery before it falls over but they still try.
Not loading the dishwasher is equally as offensive. A machine is doing the work for them *ALL* and all they have to do is open the door and place things inside it- it takes care of the rest- why is the first step so hard for some people?
Abandoned items of clothing - Carpets don't give a hoot about fashion- so there's no need to dress them in their worn clothes is there? But laundry baskets love clothes- they eat them right up- why don't they ever give yours a good feed?
Laundry - When those clothes are hanging there- bone dry- ready to be returned to their home and they just walk past them why can't they put them in a cupboard or drawer or something?! Do they think fairies come and do it while you're also at work? They must do.
When the washing basket is getting kind of full- it would be nice if they could put some clothes in the washing machine so the lid fits back on right? But alas- they seem to have selective blindness when the laundry basket has eaten too much.
Unmown garden - As much fun as it is hacking your way through the grass to hang up washing on the line- it would be nice- if once in a while you could walk up and down the length of the garden without feeling like an extra on Bear Grylls The Island. Perhaps your lover craves more adventure- or maybe they are just plain LAZY.
Flat-pack furniture - The box that has been sitting in the hallway for six months- it has a function- funnily enough it's not to stub toes on and block access to the house. You've come to the conclusion they enjoy the pain of constant below the ankle injuries and restricted entry to their own house.
