They are neglecting romantic time with their wives and girlfriends in favour of time with their kids with a meagre 5% who would prefer to spend their work free time with their loved one.

When dads were asked about this priority shift, they said that it is imperative they spend time with their children and believe that eating together on a night (to name one bonding activity) is very important to happy family life. When comparing these results with the previous generation- over 25% of men spent less time with their partner than they did with family members- which begs the question; why are their avoiding the person they married or choose to live with?

32% of men agree that what defines a great day is spending time with their offspring doing leisure actives- not with their partner- and there has to be an explanation.

The poll found that men are putting all their energies into time with their kids to avoid being asked to do housework- there we have it- nothing personal- just job dodging tactics! Men believe that investing time with their children is more of an achievement than doing chores- which is understandable. But, this household neglect and leaving their partner to do it all is not conducive to a happy home either and gives the wrong impression to women left at home while their partners are out hogging all the family fun.
