Sexy Underwear? No Thank You!
Many men buy their lady sexy underwear in the hope that they will treat them to a little show in it, but new research says that buying your lady sexy underwear is a massive no go.
A massive 68 per cent of women say that they wouldn’t like their man to buy them sexy underwear as they wouldn’t appreciate it.
Passionista, who conducted the survey, had their consultant Sandra Dyke give some further insight into the survey.
She said, “The most important thing to remember is that if she doesn’t own sexy lingerie, she doesn’t want to wear it.
“So don’t buy it as a gift for her. Hopefully she will buy it as a gift for you!”
That’s not to say that men shouldn’t buy their partner lingerie, quite the opposite, they just need to buy her underwear the she will appreciate.
Underwear can be a romantic gift, and doesn’t have to be made crude by buying saucy maid outfits or lacy red and black lingerie.
Despite this, 66 per cent of women are worried about their partner buying it for them and 71 per cent of men are worried about buying it.
Sandra suggests that you look through your ladies underwear draw before you decide to purchase her any underwear.
Get a feel for what she likes and what style she wears that that you can get her something that she will genuinely like.
Whilst your there, Sandra suggests that you take a look at the makes she wears and the sizes she goes for.
This will help you out when in the store as you can then give her sizes to the shop assistant as well as which brands she likes and the shop assistant can help you out.
Another fact the research pointed out was that 90 per cent of men and women think that a t-shirt bra would be an unsuitable gift, so don’t even go there!
Over a third of women admitted to being fashion conscious when it came to lingerie, so try to stick to the latest style and colours if that’s what your lady likes.
Remember guys, keep it classy and stick to what she likes rather than what you want her to like!
