We’re a nation obsessed with sharing- especially the couples among us. Loved up Brits post pictures with their significant other, where they are going on date nights and how much they love them in gushy Facebook posts. There are some things however, that couples would rather keep behind closed doors. There are parts of our private lives that we consider to be strictly off limits. We look at the things couples would rather keep under wraps:

Nude Photos- One of the perks of being in a relationship is that you can see your partner naked any time you want. Nude photos can be ideal for couples who live apart or work away, but they are for each other’s eyes only.

Private Texts- There are moments when you want to send each other a sexy text, a text moaning about your day at work or even one naming and shaming one of your friends or family members. Just like you would only discuss certain things with your partner at home- texts between lovers should go no further either.

Internet History- Couples browse some odd things when they are lying in bed or on the couch together- anything from porn to get them in the mood to weird You Tube videos. Sometimes they need to ask Google questions neither of them know the answer too regarding their health. Taken out of context, these searches might look odd but it makes sense to them and that’s all that matters.

Salary/Payslip- Its no-one’s business how much you both earn and how you spend your joint money but your own. Telling other people what you’re on changes very little other than perhaps their opinion of you as a couple or can encourage jealousy, resentment judgement or pity so why bother?

Their messy home- If a couple wants to live with a bit of mess and dirt- that is their decision. They have bought and paid for their house and everything in it- so if they want to let it go a little that’s up to them. Homes are just that- and it is not always possible to keep everything just right when both bill payers work.
