It’s never too late in the first month of the year to begin your journey to your romantic goals for 2015. Eurodate has come up with 5 resolutions to help you find success in your relationships.

Knowing me, knowing you

Be self-aware- if you don’t know what you want and who you are then you will only confuse anyone you date. Are you adventurous or comfortable? Do you want marriage, kids, a joint home? What is important to you in a partner? Think about what it is that you are looking for and what you have to offer.

Game Playing

This gets you nowhere- be honest and communicate what you want not what you think society wants- this is the only way to build up trust.

The Ex

Try not to compare old to new- treat your new date with a clean slate- or you will spend the night either regretting leaving your ex by comparing all of his good attributes to your new man.

Smile

Smiling makes you look more attractive- no one wants to date someone who makes them feel drained of all of their positivity. Start new topics of conversation to learn as much about each other as possible.

Mission Impossible

Don’t expect perfection from your date- if they say or do something you don’t agree with or like then don’t hold it against them unless it’s to the extreme. Everyone has their faults and differing opinions- it’s how you navigate them that is important- talk about differing points of view and back them up but sometimes you have to agree to disagree.

“We’re very grateful for all of the members who submitted their New Year’s resolution to us.  On behalf of the entire Eurodate team, Happy New Year!” – Dave Woods, Eurodate spokesman.
