Ask you partner to call it- Be really quiet and listen to your bag. Then it goes to voicemail and the hunt continues- because you can't enjoy your night without it.

You replay your day- You remember it waking you up and having it while you showered and peed but after that it's a mystery.

Your partner looks in the odd place you left it last time- Like the fridge?! You did it one time!

You turn the house upside down- Couch cushions get removed and then you find everything but the one thing you are looking for. Stuff that's been missing for months.

You become momentarily distracted by the new discoveries- You have missed them after all.

You empty your entire world out of your handbag- And it's still not there.

You contemplate getting another phone- Then you realise that your life is on that phone including THOSE pictures you would rather no one else see.

You look in the car- Even if you haven't been out in the thing.

He asks you, ' have you backed it up?' - And you have no idea what he's talking about or how you would go about such a thing. And neither does he.

He offers you his phone- But it's not as good as yours and using it just rubs it in.

You ask your partner one more time- They pull out everything in their pants and find that- yes they do in fact have your phone and have been unknowingly lying the whole time.
