Unfortunately we can’t predict who we are attracted to and just because you are attracted to him doesn’t mean that he will stop liking the person who you 'hate'.

Perhaps divert you affections elsewhere and find a worthy person to direct your attention towards. If they do end up going out then being close to the situation will only make things worse. Let things take their course with them and look for someone who likes you back- after all you don’t want to be second choice- you want to be everything to the person you are going out with!
