Tiger Woods, Vernon Kaye, John Terry, Mark Owen, and more recently Jesse James have all been have a slice of extra marital cake, and sometimes more than one slice.
But WHY oh WHY would they feel the need to go out for cake when they’ve got
a tasty bit of crumpet waiting for them at home?

As I’m writing this I’m seeing the words on the page and screaming to myself; ‘Olivia you know the answer, why are you asking yourself these silly rhetorical life questions in print on a word document?’ Why am I indeed when we all know that it’s a known fact that men are governed by their meat, which is why they find it a challenge not to cheat.

As Chris Rock famously said; ‘A man is as faithful as his options’ and guaranteed if your man is in the spotlight he will have his fair share of panties thrown at him, if he’s a good boy he might just pick them up, take a peek, perhaps a sniff, and chuck em away! BUT that’s only if he has the will power of an Ox, if he’s a weaker model of man, with the will power of say… Umm…an Eel… you can be sure he will pick up those dirty panties.. and get stuck right in.

As a woman it’s hard to get your head around why Jesse James would cheat on the lovely Sandra Bullock. She’s got it all hasn’t she, the looks, the smarts, the career…yet Jesse has cheated on her with a 24year tattooist who looks like a crazed a devilish version of Marilyn Manson!

So what does this scarlet woman have that Sandra doesn’t (other than perhaps a STD) Well Ladies… I have my own theory, here goes; Sandra has just won an Oscar for her performance in ‘The Blindside’, yet what should be the happiest time of her life is now marred by her husbands dirty behaviour, he’s ruined it for her, what a knob.

You have to ask yourself if this is to do with attention and ego?!? Sandra must have been away shooting that movie last year, a project which she obviously put a lot of hard work into. Maybe she wasn’t around as much to give her husband her undivided attention?!? Was he feeling unloved? Regardless, he should have been supporting her, not straying with the first floozy who gave him a bit of attention.

The aforementioned could be a likely scenario, the other option, and this is the more likely option (for MOST of the love rats mentioned above) is that, are you ready for this?!? THEY JUST CAN’T HELP THEMSELVES! They are like kids in a candy shop; they will eat the candy that is given to them for free, regardless of the consequences.

Men are selfish, yes we love them (well parts of them) but they are most definitely the most selfish of the species, and some more than others. More often than not the women who they are having a bit on the side with are no way near as attractive as their wives, take Ashley Cole for example, Cheryl has to be, without a doubt one of the most beautiful women in the world at the moment, yet he’s cheated on her with women who look like right dirty old slappers, which is even more indicative that its JUST for the sex.

These women represent dirty, easy and cheap sex, which is often intoxicating for men, sex without any emotional attachment, which is something that after time maybe they don’t see their wives as – the Madonna-Whore syndrome. When a woman is in love its likely she will only want to be with the man he loves, sometimes for a man this love doesn’t represent the raw sexual passion that he can get from extra marital activity, it’s a sad state of affairs, and while not all men are like this, and it makes me a bit sick to my stomach to think that some are, the dirty, dirty, dogs.

I could spend hours/days/weeks analysing this subject…but I wont as im already getting wound up thinking about all these weak and selfish men upsetting their fabulous wives and if I carry on musing I might punch the first man I see today, in the face.

In conclusion; ‘A man is as faithful as his options’ and while there are no guarantees its wise to make sure you marry a man that doesn’t have many options, puts you on a pedal stall, and kisses your ass daily! And IF he cheats…kick his sorry ass to the curb, once a cheat… always one.
