James Bay returns this week with the fantastic new music video for his latest single ‘Wild Love’, and Stranger Things fans will be excited to see the brilliant Natalia Dyer co-starring in the piece. Revealing in the United States on their acclaimed show Good Morning America, the video has already been received with huge positivity, and that looks set to continue now that it’s beginning to make waves across the globe. Speaking about working with Dyer on the video, Bay said: “It was such a pleasure to work with Natalia on the ‘Wild Love’ set. She’s a lovely person, a huge talent and it was great hanging with her while making this video. I’m also a massive Stranger Things fan so tried everything in my power not to fan boy too hard.”
The video sees Bay and Dyer on a crowded dance floor, with the former seeing the latter and eventually catching her attention, leading to a locking of the eyes and a hugely romantic piece.
‘Wild Love’ was initially released on February 8, after weeks of teasing from Bay, who had been promising his fans some new material for months. The song is the first taste of new material since the release and huge success of his BRIT and Ivor Novello-winning album ‘Chaos & The Calm’, and certainly hasn’t disappointed those who have stuck by his side in support.
With four million Spotify streams and counting, as well as over 745,000 views on the YouTube lyric video alone, ‘Wild Love’ is earning some massive praise, and we can’t wait to see just how much of a hit it can truly go on to become.
This March, Bay will play a sold out show at London Brixton Electric, before heading out on the road across North America for a sold out headline tour. He’ll then return to the UK for a string of festival performances.
