MA Corporation are in the early phase of working on the 'Katsugyo bag', a handheld device with glass panels on either side that allows people to show off the fish they have purchased at the market.

The creatures are preserved in water to make sure they stay alive and it is left to the discretion of the owner as to what to do with their fish.

In an Instagram post explaining the concept, MA Corporation wrote: "Under development - this fish bag, a product that carries fish 'live'.

"Bring the fish you caught and the live fish you bought at the market to your home. We are working to spread live fish."

The firm added: "We will work on the design in detail whilst verifying performance and carrying out an operation check.

"Let's dream of a world where it is natural to carry a product like this."
