In this week's celebrity gossip column, we will be sharing the latest updates on our favourite British stars. Love Island sweetheart, Liberty Poole, secured yet another deal and Stacey Solomon welcomed her first daughter. Jesy Nelson opened up about her mental health over the years, and Adele literally broke the internet. October has been a rollercoaster for the British celebs so far, and things only seem to be heating up.

Let's take a closer look at this week's hottest gossip.

Adele is back... finally!

After a six-year hiatus, Adele is back and ready to sing. She released a sneak preview of her new single, Easy on Me, earlier this week. The short clip included a few cords of the song and a teaser video. The black and white video featured the singer pushing a cassette tape in the car and driving away. She wore a wet look black jacket and looked absolutely sensational.

Adele changed her social media graphics to her long-awaited album cover. The cover is a deep teal colour with the number 30 in the middle. Fans started to notice billboards popping up with the same graphics all over the world.

However, as soon Adele started to trend online, the social media world crashed. WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram came to a standstill, and millions could not access their apps. The outage went on for hours, and Adele fans claim she was responsible. Did Adele's comeback really break the internet? I hope so.

Liberty Poole signs up for Dancing on Ice

This winter, Liberty Poole will be back on our screens for the new season of Dancing on Ice on ITV. The 22-year-old first appeared on Love Island in 2021 and captured the hearts of viewers. Since exiting the villa, Liberty has obtained a £1 million deal with In The Style and 1.5 million followers on Instagram.

Dancing on Ice will be her next adventure. She told fans: "So excited to join the show that I've loved watching for year's @dancingonice @itv," followed by two stars emojis and an ice skating shoes emoji.

We can't wait to see Liberty twirl and dance around the ice.

Jesy Nelson shares more about her mental health journey

On a more serious note, Little Mix's Jesy Nelson spoke out about her suicide attempt this week. The singer spoke with Fearne Cotton on the Happy Place podcast about her mental illness and Odd One Out documentary. The BBC documentary revealed the extensive trolling and abuse Jesy received since finding fame on The X Factor in 2011. Jesy left the group last year because she felt “trapped and miserable”.

Jesy told Fearne: "Yeah. Well, I just remember obviously the first time, so obviously I'd taken an overdose. I went into hospital, and then I had a music video like a week after...

"And obviously my mum found out and she was distraught and she was outright: "This is it, you're not doing this anymore". Because my mum's the kind of mum that's like, '"Jes, we couldn't give a s**t what you do as long as you're happy..."

The documentary has since been used to educate teens on the impact of cyberbullying and abuse online.

Stacey Solomon welcomed her first daughter

Stacey Solomon announced the birth of her first daughter with fiancé Joe Swash. She told her 4.6 million followers on Instagram with a stunning photo of her baby girl.

Stacey wrote: "Yesterday I got the best birthday present I could have ever wished for...

She posted a black and white video of herself in a hospital bed attached to a monitor.

She added: "I woke up feeling a little twinge so I went to check in on her. She seemed happy as Larry and the contractions weren't too strong so I went home...

"But she decided she was ready to meet us. Immediately" followed by a laughing face emoji.

The video showed Stacey having contractions at Pickle Cottage with her fiancé supporting her.

"So our community midwives came over with all of the gas and air."

She quickly regretted not getting an epidural at the hospital. However, Stacy said she was overjoyed with the arrival of her new-born at home.
