Wrath of Man film trailer

Guy Richie and Jason Statham have teamed up once again to bring you an action-packed thriller, as shown in the film’s new trailer.

Richie’s most recent film, The Gentlemen (2019), did rather well; the A-list cast and intriguing story definitely impressed audiences. This movie seemed to bring Richie back to his roots of crime thrillers, which will be the theme for Wrath of Man.

Statham stars as a character simply called H, in what will be a tense story about armoured car heists in Los Angeles. The movie appears to be gritty and real, and as we all know, Statham is a great choice for a serious, cruel lead role.

Statham’s character looks as though he’s in it for revenge, as he joins a heist to find out who killed his son – a classic story of vengeance – in what will be a tense story.

Wrath of Man is scheduled for cinematic release on May 7th, 2021.

Jordan Peele casts Steven Yeun in new movie role

Steven Yeun, star of The Walking Dead, has only recently been nominated for an Oscar following his performance in Minari, and has now been cast in director Jordan Peele’s new movie.

Peele is a household name by now, after his directorial debut with Get Out (2017) won Best Original Screenplay at the Oscars. His other horror, titled Us (2019), was also a big hit – it’s no wonder fans are eager to see what he has in store for them next.

While there isn’t a lot if information to go on as many details are being kept secret, the very idea of Yeun working with Peele is interesting enough and should definitely keep people guessing until more information is revealed.

Despite the lack of information, the film does have a release date; it is expected to be released July 22nd, 2022.

Uncharted release date is knocked back a week

The much-anticipated Uncharted film, starring Marvel actor Tom Holland, has been delayed once again, but only by a week.

The film is based upon a video game franchise of the same name, and Holland will be playing the titular role of Nathan Drake, the treasure hunter.

Uncharted has had many setbacks already, including numerous rewrites, a few filming attempts, and even numerous directors coming in before leaving their role. This seems to be a sign that the movie might not be so good…

Movies based on games don’t always do so well, but with Tomb Raider being a critical success, maybe Uncharted will surprise us all. Plus, Holland will no doubt bring his A-game to the film, which is something we’re all looking forward to.

We were originally supposed to see Nathan Drake in action last year (2020), but the unfortunate global pandemic meant it was pushed back; it was also pushed to 2021, and now it seems they’ve settled on a release date of February 18th (from February 11th) 2022.

Knives Out 2 will reportedly start filming soon

The 2019 film Knives Out, starring many fantastic actors such as Jaime Lee Curtis, Daniel Craig, and Chris Evans, is making a comeback with a sequel set to begin filming in June of 2021.

It is not confirmed who exactly will be returning, but we do know that Craig will be back as the intelligent Detective, Benoit Blanc.

Netflix will be where the sequel lands, and due to a deal with the sequel’s director, Rian Johnson, Knives Out 2 and Knives Out 3 have gotten amazing momentum, sparking filming for the second film to start in just a couple months’ time.

Other than Craig, no other casting choices have been made. This seems to open up a whole new frontier for the new franchise, as not only is there a clean slate for casting, but the film is supposedly set in Greece.

Shooting in a different country will be a brilliant way to show what the franchise can do, and that using the idea of ‘whodunnit’ can work pretty much anywhere; it will definitely be on our watch list!

Black Widow film reportedly adds in a former Bond Girl

While we have been waiting what feels like a decade for the release of Natasha Romanoff’s (Scarlett Johansson) solo film Black Widow, it seems to feel further away with each piece of news we get.

Black Widow’s solo story will bring a lot of new characters into the fray, including Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Iron Maiden (Rachel Weitz), and of course, Taskmaster.

However, not long before the film’s intended release, a new cast member has supposedly been added. Olga Kurylenko is believed to have joined the roster of actors – as who, we’re not sure; although it has been said that her role will be ‘limited’. We’re as confused as you are…

Romanoff has been a beloved character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) since 2011, but only 10 years later will she be getting her own movie. The film was supposed to start Phase 4 of the franchise, but coronavirus delays meant that delays after delay took over the film.

Fans can expect to see Romanoff dominate cinemas and Disney+ in July, 2021 – although more delays may occur.
