It will be the second time this year that the royal siblings have had an important role at a royal wedding. In May, they attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding as pageboy and bridesmaid.

Princess Eugenie, who is ninth in line to the throne, will marry Jack Brooksbank on Friday in Windsor. The couple became engaged in January after dating for seven years.

Princess Charlotte will be carrying out her bridesmaid duties alongside Savannah Philips, Isla Philips, Mia Tindall, Maud Windsor, Theodora Williams and Princess Eugenie’s goddaughter.

Joining Prince George as pageboy will be Louis de Givenchy, the son of banking executive Olivier de Givenchy and his wife Zoe.

Although the ballot for public guest entry to the royal wedding is now closed, excited royalists can still watch the day unfold in a This Morning special: “This Morning at the Royal Wedding” which will be shown from 9.25am on Friday.

The programme will be shown on iTV and hosted by Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford live from Windsor.
