Jack mulls over the intense moment at Martha’s flat the night before. “Maybe we are more than friends?” he ponders. Tony reckons Martha’s been though a hell of a time and could just be leaning on an old friend for support. Colleen’s got another take on it. “A brave young man rescuing a beautiful girl’s life, it’s so romantic!” Jack blushes, but the air is electric chez Marth when he pops round to fix that pesky tap.Martha finally admits she rushed the decision to end her pregnancy. She’s also feeling ridiculous about all the mistakes she’s made. Cam exploited her vulnerability; she can’t believe she bought his lines about pole dancing being empowering. Anyway, things are getting really intimate, so Martha decides to throw it out there. “It’s pointless pretending whatever that was didn’t happen,” she says. “I felt it…” Jack concurs. Martha confesses she still feels the love, but just needs a friend for now. Jack’s happy with that, and delighted when she invites him for a jolly Barbie round at Sal’s. Later that night, Martha breaks down in tears. All this time she’s been blocking out her feelings with drink and dancing, and suddenly she feels empty. Of course, Jack is there to wipe away her tears.

Belle and Drew secretly want to get back together, but they’re not about to admit it.

Belle projects her frustration into bitching about Jules.

Everyone’s noticed the narkiness between Jules and Cassie; Belle reckons Jules is just trying to get her attention. “In a completely demented way,” Jules is sending out a mating call because he’s got the hots for mama Cass.

When Jules sabotages Cassie’s presentation, Belle announces as much in front of the whole class.

Jules gets his revenge by replacing Belle’s handouts with photocopies of his bum. Belle’s on the warpath now: she takes a saw to Jules’ chair legs. Little does she know, he’s watching it all, and swaps the chair with Brad’s.

Jules, Belle and Cassie all spend the evening in detention.
