Britney Spears claimed she 'made out' with Ben Affleck

The 'Toxic' hitmaker shared a photo of herself posing with the 'Gone Girl' actor and award-winning songwriter Diane Warren in the summer of 1999 as she teased the "crazy" anecdote in a since-deleted post on Instagram.

Britney wrote: "Cool pic of me and Ben Affleck and Diane Warren years ago!

"He's such an amazing actor. Did I fail to mention I made out with Ben that night... I honestly forgot... damn that's crazy!

"Wish I could tell you guys the story that happened before that! Oh dear, I'm just being a gossip girl!

"Psss I actually forgot [laughing mojis] (sic)"

When the photo was taken, Ben was dating Gwyneth Paltrow, while it is unclear if Britney had started her romance with Justin Timberlake at that time.

Britney recently praised Justin and apologised for "some of the things" she wrote in her memoir, 'The Woman In Me'.

Alongside a clip of Justin performing with classroom instruments with friend Jimmy Fallon on 'The Tonight Show', the 'Gimme More' hitmaker - who revealed in her book she'd had an abortion when she was 19 because the former *NSYNC star wasn't ready to be a father - wrote on Instagram “I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry…(sic)"

The 'Toxic' hitmaker then went on to praise her former boyfriend's new song 'Selfish', as well as a second of his new tracks, 'Sanctified', which he debuted on 'Saturday Night Live' over the weekend.

She added: “I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish’ [rose emoji] It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ??? Ps ‘Sanctified’ is wow [starry eyed emoji] too.(sic)"

In response, the 'SexyBack' hitmaker took an apparent swipe at Britney during his concert in New York City.

He said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologise to absolutely nobody.”
