The Jonas Brothers star had long "craved alone time" with his 24-year-old spouse - who gave birth to their first child in July - since they tied the knot in May 2019 in Las Vegas after the Billboard Music Awards, and the global health crisis has afforded the family of three more time together, with touring off the cards for the time being.

The ’Sucker’ hitmaker told People magazine: "Running right onto tour after getting married I didn’t really have that alone time I craved with my wife, so I was able to just be in one place which was kind of nice for a change."

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old musician recently reunited with his brothers Kevin, 33, and Nick, 28, to record a pre-taped virtual gig with Lenovo Yoga, which will air on their YouTube channel on December 3.

Although Joe had seen Nick "here and there", it was the first time all three siblings had been together in seven months.

Joe said in the joint interview with his brothers: "Quarantine's been quiet. [Being] able to see my brothers for the first time ... was really nice. It's been about seven months since I've seen Kevin. I've seen Nick here and there."

Nick said of the upcoming performance: "On top of being thrilled to reconnect as family and bandmates, we're really looking forward to bringing something unique like this to our fans."

Elsewhere, Kevin - who has daughters Alena, six, and Valentina, four, with wife Danielle - admitted homeschooling in lockdown has been "really great" for his family's "bond".

He added: "You can only make them focus for so long! You want to encourage them to learn, and they're so wanting to learn,.

"Through technology, we've really made some strides. Thank God I'm in a position to be able to take that time and be an at-home dad and sit down and be there with her to do the schoolwork ... it hasn't always been like that. In a way, it's been really great for our bond as a family."
