Dreams can, as we know, mean a multitude of things, and can perhaps even change your daily life and how you live it. Since the world, after the height of the coronavirus pandemic, is opening up its doors once again, we thought we’d give you seven meanings a dream about travel could have!

Travelling with friends

If your dream consisted of you jetting off somewhere with your friends, then it’s a very good sign. This usually infers a happy, stable family life, and suggests that you have good, close relationships with your partner and children.

Travelling abroad

If you dreamed of travelling to a location overseas, then various meanings are upon you.

It could suggest that you need to make some changes in your life, such as with your daily routine or even your job.

This dream could also mean that you need to relax and take a break; you may be feeling stressed or overworked, and a dream about travelling abroad can be your sign to sit back and relax for a while.

Travelling over the ocean

If your dream took you across the vast, open ocean, this may unfortunately be a bad sign for you.

This often symbolises that you are dealing with some adversity at work or in your personal life, and you may be forced to deal with a somewhat unpleasant situation.

A dream like this can indicate issues that are on the rise at work or at home (if they haven’t risen already), so you need to take action against them and try your best to figure out what could make things easier for you.

Travelling by car

Travelling by car within your dream can often be a good sign, signifying happiness and satisfaction at the start of a fortunate period in your life. If you were alone, it indicates the possibility of going on an amazing trip sometime soon.

If the car was filled with other people, this is also a good sign and can mean you will soon come across some exciting and interesting people and events.

Travelling by ship or cruiser

If you reached your dream destination by a ship of cruiser, this unfortunately is another bad sign.

It suggests that you have some unrealistic goals; you may daydream about things that have little chance of becoming a reality. This indicates you may be absent-minded.

This could mean that you should perhaps make your dreams and goals a little smaller, therefore being able to reach more goals sooner.

Changing jobs or even relocating could be the answer, but don’t jump straight to this conclusion, try other possibilities out first.

Travelling with a large group

If your dream involved a large group of people, it could mean you are self conscious about your deficiencies, importance, or even confidence.

Perhaps you are trying to reach an impossible goal; if this seems to be the case for you, then sit down and map out some smaller, easily-obtainable goals that you can accomplish. This will give you a quick and high sense of achievement.

Travelling to strange and scary places

If your dream was set in an eerie, unsettling place, then you can probably guess that this is not a good sign.

A dream such as this one usually indicates that you will encounter some form of danger soon; it could even signal the approach of an illness.

In this case, you can perhaps take some vitamins for good health, and drink herbal teas and eat healthier to avoid certain illnesses.
