Codemasters have confirmed 'F1 2016' for an August release.
The Formula One racing car game is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on August 19.
The release date was unveiled during a new trailer, where experienced F1 drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Jolyon Palmer road tested the game's new Baku City Circuit in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Codemasters said: "The video shows the two F1 drivers getting to grips with the new circuit, giving their impressions on the track and its challenges as they go. The historic city centre, beautiful seaside promenade and impressive architecture all combine to provide the perfect backdrop to the new track - and it's quite a spectacular contrast to see cars at the forefront of racing technology throwing themselves around a track enclosed by such a combination of history and 21st century style."
The video game developer previously promised 'F1 2016' would be "the most immersive career mode ever featured in the franchise", with players able to sign a contract for a racing team and work their way up the ladder or instead, players can choose to develop their favourite team into a championship contender.
In addition, Codemasters will be re-introducing the Safety Car, as well as the sports Virtual Safety Car and a "stunning hospitality area for each team" which will allow players to work with their Research and Development Engineer and Player Agent to progress both on and off track.
Lee Mather, Principal Games Designer at Codemasters, said: "F1 2016 is a massive step forward for the franchise. The new career mode sits at the heart of the game and allows gamers to create their own legend over a career that can span for up to a massive ten seasons.
"Beyond improving upon the fastest and most thrilling on-track racing experience in gaming, F1 2016 uniquely offers the drama and vehicle development that goes on behind the scenes.
"A rich car upgrade system is fully integrated into a new and deep practice development programme which mirrors the tests carried out by the teams in real life."
Codemasters have released further details on the game's Limited Edition 'Career Booster' DLC, which they say is designed to "give players a head start in pursuing their F1 career".
