Gigi Hadid’s red carpet style is always on point, but it’s the model’s casual daytime looks that make us the most envious.
When she’s not storming the runway for brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Mui Mui and Tom Ford, Gigi is hitting the pavement showing off some impossibly cool, casual looks.
When out and about Gigi mostly wears her long blonde locks in a high ponytail and frames her face with a pair of oversized sunglasses. The model likes to keep her make-up minimal, usually opting for a clean face and a nude lip.
Gigi is a big fan of the sports luxe trend and always manages to make leisure wear look chic and stylish outside of the gym.
In December she stepped out in New York in a pair of black leggings, red sneakers, a Reebok crop top and a navy zip-up jacket. While most of us would struggle to pull off this look in the gym, Gigi proved sports wear can be daywear if pulled off correctly.
While she favours the casual, Gigi isn’t afraid to wear a heel in the daytime and team jeans with a high heeled boot.
Leaving her New York apartment, Gigi teamed a pair of high heeled lace-up baby blue boots, with high-waisted light denim jeans, which were turned up to show off her super-cute footwear. She topped off the look with a long back coat which featured a leather trim.
But where Gigi most likes to make a style statement is with her collection of outerwear, From bomber jackets, to denim and leather styles as well as long coats, Gigi has one of the most fashionable outerwear collections.
In September she rocked an 80s style denim jacket which was covered in patches reading ‘fierce’, ‘fame’ and ‘fever’. She teamed the statement jacket with a pair of leather look leggings and a crop top underneath.
Whatever she’s wearing, Gigi manages to embrace the latest fashion trends pull them off effortlessly. The model’s daytime style is proof that less is always more and there are no rules when it comes to creating a casual look that is both functional and chic.
