Blake Lively has revealed that she was delighted with her brown locks for new movie The Green Lantern.
The actress steps into her first big budget blockbuster this summer as she teams up with Ryan Reynolds.
She takes on the role of Carol Ferris in the movie and had to leave her familiar blonde hair behind.
Speaking to Access Hollywood the actress said: "I loved having the brown hair. It was the first time I did anything different. I'm about to change my hair again for another movie."
"This man, who I've never heard say more than four words - you would never pin him as a comic book fan - as soon as it came out that I was playing Star Sapphire, he was like, 'You have to dye your hair brown!'"
"He said, 'Not only for my sake as a fan, but for your own security. I'm telling you, you have to dye your hair brown! People will attack you, people will be so angry'."
Green Lantern is released 17th June.
