Gemma Arterton

Gemma Arterton wants a movie career like Rachel Weisz.

The young British actress admires the versatility of Oscar winner Weisz as she moves between the smaller roles to blockbusters such as The Mummy.

Speaking to MSN.com the actress said: "I'd really like the type of career Rachel Weisz has. I have a lot of respect for her - brilliant, talented, intelligent, a witty sort of woman.

"You know, she'll do a rom-com (romantic comedy) - not that I ever want to do a rom-com - but then she'll go off and do The Constant Gardener, have a family and live quite a normal life, it seems. I respect that."

And Arterton looks set to do the same with two blockbusters on the horizon over the next couple of months.

First up is Clash of the Titans, which sees her star alongside Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes before moving onto Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Prince of Persia is a big screen adaptation of the popular computer game with Jake Gyllenhaal in the central role.

Away from the blockbusters also on the horizon for Arterton this year is the Stephen Frears directed film Tamara Drewe.
