Rachel Weisz deserves all her success according to her Deep Blue Sea director Terence Davis.
The British pair are set to join forces for this latest project, which also stars Thor actor Tom Hiddlestone.
Deep Blue Sea will close the London Film Festival this year and is the first movie project for Davis since documentary Of Time and the City back in 2008.
And the director had nothing but praise for his Oscar winning leading lady.
Speaking to Digital Spy the filmmaker said: "She's just very, very gifted and she's a lovely person.
She deserves it, she absolutely deserves it. I'm very pleased for her because it's nice when people who are good get what they deserve."
Weisz was one the small screen earlier this summer as she teamed up with Bill Nighy for political thriller Page Eight.
She is set to return with Dream House, which sees her star alongside Daniel Craig, and she is currently working on Oz: The Great and Powerful.
The Deep Blue Sea is released 11th November.
