Tom Hardy has revealed that it is an honour to be working on the new Batman movie.
The actor is currently filming The Dark Knight Rises, in which he takes on the role of Bane, alongside Christian Bale.
It is the third of Christopher Nolan's Batman movies and Anne Hathaway & Joseph Gordon Levitt are also new faces on the cast list.
In a press Conference for new movie Warrior the actor said: "It's such an honour to be asked to be in Batman, full stop.
"If I think about it, what I'm doing it, it would be so overwhelming that I probably wouldn't be able to do the job so I'd rather not talk about it.
"It's quite a big deal."
Tom Hardy may be filming a new project but we are going to be seeing plenty of him on the big screen as he has two releases in September.
First up is political thriller Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - in which he joins an all star cast that includes Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Mark Strong and John Hurt.
Warrior sees him swap political espionage for mixed martial arts in the Gavin O'Connor directed movie.
Tinker Tailor Solider Spy is released 16th September
Warrior is released 23rd September.
