Culture Club

Boy George-fronted group Culture Club have announced their plans to release a new single and album, with tickets for their UK December tour on-sale now.

'More Than Silence' is the name of their new track, released officially tomorrow - Tuesday November 4 - ahead of their forthcoming LP 'Tribes', due in early 2015.

After huge success which has seen them sell over 100 million singles and 50 million albums, Culture Club can firmly say they were one of the most successful and biggest pop bands of the 1980s.

With number one singles in over 12 countries and platinum record sales across the world, they became the first group since The Beatles to have three Top Ten US hits from a debut album.

The original line-up consisting of Boy George, bass guitarist Mikey Craig, Roy Hay on guitar and keyboards and Jon Moss on drums and percussion are all back together for their first new single release in over 15 years.

George says of 'More Than Silence': "Artists make complicated lovers because they always need an audience. I always say 'silence is the loudest sound in the universe'. A blue moon in a lonely sky.

"Roy always wanted to rock out a little. I think we finally created a song which gives him the opportunity."
