Frank Ocean has continued his success by claiming his first number one album in the US with sophomore album 'Blonde'.

Released on August 20 - over four years since the release of his debut record - the LP also climbed to the top of the UK album charts, marking Ocean's first UK number one. He took 32,000 combined sales in the country.

The album sold a total of 276,000 units, 232,000 of which were in traditional sales, whilst 40,000 copies were sold in streaming equivalents.

Over the past week, 'Blonde' has seen 65.4 million streams on Apple Music alone, where it is exclusively being held.

Ocean's also claimed the third biggest debut of the year so far, behind Drake and Beyonce for their respective albums 'Views' and 'Lemonade'.

That album of Drake's currently sits at number two with 77,000 units, whilst last week's number one, the Suicide Squad soundtrack falls to number three with 76,000 units sold. Tory Lanez makes a big debut at number four with 'I Told You', earning 52,000 units - 32,000 of which were in pure album sales. Lindsey Stirling also does well, claiming her second top 10 album with 'Brave Enough' which goes in at five with 49,000 units.
