Avenged Sevenfold will release the DVD / CD package ‘Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough’ on September 15th on Warner Bros. Records.

‘Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough’ combines a live DVD recorded earlier this year at the band’s hometown show at Long Beach Arena during their headline stint on the Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour with a CD comprising rare and previously unheard material.

Directed by Rafa Alcantara who also worked on Avenged Sevenfold’s ‘All Excess’ tour rockumentary, the DVD captures the intensity of the band’s live show with hits and fan favourites ‘Afterlife’, ‘Beast and the Harlot’, ‘Almost Easy’, ‘Bat Country’ and ‘A Little Piece of Heaven’ all included.

The CD features seven previously unreleased b-sides with a remix of ‘Almost Easy’, an alternative version of ‘Afterlife’ and Avenged Sevenfold’s covers of Iron Maiden’s ‘Flash of the Blade’ and Pantera’s ‘Walk’.

Having last played in the UK as the main support at Iron Maiden’s Twickenham Stadium show, Avenged Sevenfold will return to play the main stage at the Leeds and Reading festivals on August 22nd and 24th respectively, where Metallica headline a bill that also includes Slipknot and Tenacious D.

Avenged Sevenfold released their self-titled fourth album last year, earning glowing reviews from publications including Classic Rock, NME and Q in the process.
