Asda will also be launching Banana Blossom, the latest plant-based alternative to excite customers. The Banana Blossom, which grows on the banana tree, was originally a popular ingredient in South Asian cooking as a substitute to fish due to its flaky texture. Both tins are packed with nutrients and a source of protein are the perfect addition to your supermarket shop!

The Jackfruit and the Banana Blossom tins are available now for £1.20 and £1.50 respectively. Perfect for a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle, or for those wanting a more flexitarian diet.
