Bear tied to lamppost while owner went to pub
A dancing bear was left tied to a lamppost outside a pub whilst its owner went drinking.
The bear, which was tied up outside like a pet dog, had been taken into town after a festival near Valencia, in southern Spain, where it was scheduled to perform was cancelled due to a hailstorm, the Metro newspaper reports.
Event organisers have condemned his actions with a spokesperson saying that whilst they are ''not responsible for what he did during the festival'' they tried to put on a good exhibition and ''were hoping for a show in which the animal danced and none of this happened''.
