A boss made two of his employees pay a £2,460 bill after they massively overspent at a company party.

The waiter who served the group has revealed how two men overspent by £600 at their work's dinner because they wouldn't stick to the menu, and their bad manners cost them a huge sum.
He told BoredPanda: ''One night, I am splitting a party of 30-40 with another server. A small group of 5-6 people arrive a bit ahead of schedule. Two guys and three to four women...
''[One of the men said] 'Me and my bro are going to start with a round of Johnny Walker blue, and these lades are going to have expensive red wine.' ''
It turned out the event contract meant the pair had to put their drinks on a separate tab because they weren't included in the set menu options.
However, the man rudely replied: ''This is our party, just get me what I ordered and don't question me again.''
Subsequently, the boss was disgusted and made the pair pay for the entire meal and told the waiter to add a 25 per cent tip to the bill.
