A Brazilian gang leader tried to escape prison dressed as his daughter.

Clauvino da Silva attempted to flee from behind bars by dressing up in a silicon mask, glasses and a long dark-haired wig, in a bid to look like his teen daughter who often visited him in the Rio de Janeiro prison.
The criminal also wore skinny jeans and a pink t-shirt with a cartoon emblazoned on the front however officials say that the escape attempt failed as the prisoner's nervousness gave him away.
According to reports, he had planned to leave his 19-year-old daughter inside the prison.
Officials say da Silva was transferred to a unit of a maximum-security prison and will face disciplinary sanctions after his failed escape bid.
