According to the Wall Street Journal, loved ones say goodbye to their loved ones so often at the theme park that members of staff have their own special code name for it.

When an employee discovers someone disposing of ashes or discover ash residue on a ride, they request a 'HEPA clean-up', which means an ultra-fine vacuum cleaner used to sort out the mess.

In particular, the Haunted Mansion attraction was a favourite spot for leaving behind ashes.

A Disneyland custodian said: ''The Haunted Mansion probably has so much human ashes in it that it's not even funny.''
