A man was arrested after allegedly shoving steaks worth more than $50 down his trousers.

Michael Owens, 61, was arrested after he was allegedly seen on surveillance footage grabbing two packs of rib-eye steaks, worth $56.36 each, putting them down his trousers and walking out of the store, WFOX-TV reported.
The man was reportedly stopped leaving the Publix store in St. Augustine by a loss prevention officer who claimed to witness the man steal the meat and apprehended him as he left the supermarket.
The steaks were recovered however not allowed back in store, according to the officer who apprehended Owens, the man believed he would simply be removed from the store if he was caught and didn't think legal action would be taken against him.
