Rachel Brogan, 23, has revealed how a hapless Casanova slid into her DMs asking if she'd ''her about'' his grandfather, before revealing the intention behind his message.
The total stranger said: ''S**t sorry wrong person meant to txt a girl a went to school with but clicked on you by accident. Not thinking straight as my grandad passed away sorry x (sic)''
He then called the NHS clerical officer ''lovely'' with a smiley emoji, before adding: ''You single?''
Rachel shared the exchange online, with many of his social media followers giving their own damning verdict.
One quipped: ''I suppose he needs a date to the funeral''
Another tweeted to brand the exchange a ''sympathy gimmick''.
