Family woken up by rampaging raccoon

Marek Chapanionek, 44, and his wife Caroline, 47, were woken up after they heard crashing in their home only to discover the mammal rummaging through a bag before it grabbed a Nutri-Grain bar to snack on.

The rampaging raccoon is believed to have entered their home via the cat flip, but ran into different rooms in the house in Northamptonshire when the family arose when it was pulling items out of drawers and scattering clothes across the room, according to the BBC.

This news come as a surprise as it has been rumoured the black and white furry animal has never been seen inside someone's house for almost 30 years, and the RSPCA have previously claimed any raccoons that have been seen in the wild are believed to have escaped from wildlife parks.
