A jar of sheep eyes has been named one of the weirdest items to be found in airport passengers' luggage.

A list compiled by online flight comparison site Jetcost.co.uk found that airport security have been startled by the likes of sheep eyes, the penis from a Greek statue, a case full of mannequin hands and £100,000 in monopoly money.
A spokesperson for Jetcost.co.uk said ''We're not sure what people were thinking carrying some of these items in their luggage!
''If you're questioning whether or not you can travel with an item, ask the question or just don't try - it can lead to an awkward situation or even get you into trouble!''
