Upcoming Telugu actress Bhargavi has been found dead in her apartment in Hyderabad.
Police suspect her live-in partner Praveen Kumar, who committed suicide, of the crime.
Police found a suicide note, supposedly written by Praveen which said: "We have decided to commit suicide since her mother is not allowing us to meet."
However it is believed that the note also said that the pair had been married since 2006 and that Praveen killed her because she had started to neglect him after her successful debut film.
Police believe that Praveen stabbed Bhargavi to death and then poisoned himself.
