Modelling Amrapali Jewelers

The India International Jewellery week is back for the second year with actress Sonam Kapoor as its brand ambassador.The Five-day event is filled with glamour, sparkle and gorgeous Jewellery created by 32 of India's leading designers and design houses, giving them a platform to showcase their amazing talent and share their creations. India's top models strutted their stuff on the catwalk modelling the designer jewellery. As well as Bollywood stars, who added that extra sparkle to the event.

 Day one of the event had actresses like Bipasha Basu, Soha Ali Khan, Mahie Gill and Riya Sen modelling on the catwalk in designer Gitanjali Jewels creations. There was also actress Geeta Badra who modelled for designer Sangam Chains. Model Angela Jonsson who strutted down the catwalk in Gehna Jewellers designs. And actress Nargis Bhageri modelled for Eekani Jewels. The star attraction of the day was National award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut, who modelled Amrapli designs.

Day two of the star studded event saw young stars and veterans dazzling on the catwalk. The highlight was former Bollywood 'dreamgirl' Hema Malini, who looked beautiful in a blue sari with diamond jewellery. Actress Kalki Koechlin modelled for Kays Jewls Pvt Ltd. The song playing when she was on the catwalk was from her recent movie 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' called 'Senorita'and the actress couldn't help but do a few dance moves, much to the audiences delight.

The third day also featured Bollywood babes such as, Zoa Morani, Yuvika Chodhary and Amrita Rao modelling for Agni Jewels.
The Sawansukha Jewellers show had the much loved classic actress Zeenat Aman and the Bollywood drop out Mahima Chaudhary.  
 
Day four of the event saw actresses like Shraddha Kapoor, Isha Koppikar, Malaika Arora Khan and Perizaad Zorabian.

Today's finale will see the brand ambassador Sonam Kapoor as the headline act on the catwalk.

The World Gold Council were also at the five-day event to showcase their jewels. There were specially selected pieces from Amrapali Jewelers and Derawala Jewelers, along with some breathtaking designs by renowned jewellery designer Pallvi Foley. Crafted in 18K and 22K gold, the range of pieces were simply stunning.
