If rumours are to be believed one of Bollywood’s hottest couples Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are heading for a split. The relationship had been going through a rough patch but it seems the final blow came after a spat between Salman and Shah Rukh Khan on Katrina’s birthday.Industry sources say that Katrina is not in a forgiving mood after his behaviour on her birthday attracted much media attention. And the pair are no longer speaking.A friend said: “Katrina is blaming Salman for the entire episode.” Katrina believed that as the host Salman should have restrained himself. “But certain things are not in anyone’s control and it is destined to happen,” Katrina said in a TV interview.A close friend of Salman said: “He is good at heart. He took initiative for the party to please Katrina. But everything went wrong.”Katrina’s ambition is said to be the reason between the couple’s difficulties. The British-born actress has long stopped taking Salman’s advice regarding her professional life, which has annoyed the actor.Salman, who is known for his hot temper, had objections to Katrina’s choice of films, her co stars and even the outfits she wore for some films.
