Lisa is playing Salman's love interest in the movie.
Salman has already bulked up to get himself into character and is now growing his hair for the role.
Salman had the idea for Veer over twenty years ago and was planning to direct the film but passed the role over to a professional director.
Salman has denied rumours that the movie was inspired by Amitabh Bachchan's 1992 film Suryavanshi.
