Shahid Kapoor will be keeping a very low profile until his new film is released, as he doesn't want to reveal his character's new look.
The actor has worked very hard on achieving the right kind of image for the film, for the upcoming release of Vishal Bharadwaj's Kaminay.
"Vishal and he had detailed talk about his character and after lengthy discussion finally created and settled for a rough and tough looks," said a source, adding that the actor has decided not make public appearances until some sneak peaks of Kaminay hit the air.
"Shahid has a tanned look in the film. He has literally soaked himself in the sun for the bronze look. He has kept different haircut for the film too. Shahid had gone in for functional training too. That has now given him a well chiseled body. But all this is a closely guarded secret."
Shahid even decided to not attend the trial of Dostana when he realised that the media were going to be there.
