A spiritual journey is our reconnection to the self. It’s a journey with your soul to deepen the connection to knowledge, understanding and wisdom that we hold in this lifetime. When we arrive on the earth, we will not know what our pre planned journey holds for us, but at some point, we will become aware that there is more than just us. We are divine beings who are here to learn, grow and become.

Often when we are ready to embark on our own spiritual journey, we have been feeling some of the following:

Here are some simple steps to help you get started:

Step 1 – De Clutter

Have a clear out!! Make space in your life – less clutter, less anxiety!!

Re-organize your living space to create a new positive vibe

Become more organized, with forward planning

Know your schedule

Make a list: (shopping, bills to pay, Repairs)

Create a budget

These little changes can bring less stress, help you to sleep better and help you to be more productive.

Step 2 – Time to get to know yourself

Take some time for self-reflection

Who am I?

Who do I inspire to be?

Are my beliefs supporting my need for spiritual growth?

How do I spend my time?

Do more of what makes you happy!!!

Step 3 – Listen

Meditation is the best method to help you to calm the mind and connect to your inner being

Listen to your body, if you need to rest, then take the time to do so.

Take time each day to sit in silence, reminding yourself the importance of listening to the sounds around you.

You are learning to trust and listen to your own intuition.

Step 4 – Self Care

Show yourself some love

Eat healthy foods

Reduce alcohol intake

Exercise

Spend some time outdoors

Be kind to yourself, show yourself some love. You deserve it!!

Step 5 – Let it go

It's time to let go of any toxic situations, thoughts or limiting beliefs.

You are worth it

You are stepping into the new and positive you

You are loved

Self-love is a very important part of the process, be kind to you.

Step 6 – Knowledge is the Key

Read, Read, Read!!

There are so many good books out there, feel which topics you are drawn to and start there.

You may also be drawn to attend some workshops or classes of a spiritual nature. This is a great way to get started and may also help you meet other like-minded souls.

Starting on a spiritual journey is very new and exciting. You will learn a lot from the process, not just about yourself, but also in the others around you.

Hold a clear intention of what you would like to achieve from it and what the journey means to you.

Write a journal. Take notes along the way, so you can take time to reflect on the lessons that you have learned.

You are building the connection to your inner self and learning to trust your intuition, this will help you to identify any area in life that is holding you back.

Surround yourself with the good and positively minded. Don’t forget that like attracts like, so the better that we surround ourselves in positivity, the more we can draw in and also share it with others.
