Jason Biggs to lend his voice to Mutant Ninja Turtles

Jason Biggs and Sean Astin are to star in new version of Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The two movie stars will lend their voices to animated crime-fighters Raphael and Leonardo in a new animated series for the kids TV network Nickelodeon.

Entertainment Weekly magazine have also reported that Rob Paulsen, who played Raphael in the first Mutant Ninja Turtles film, will voice the character of Donatello in the new show.

Lord of the Rings star, Astin tells the publication that he has suddenly become a hero in the eyes of his nephew who is a huge fan of the Turtles.

He says: "I was too old for them. My wife's brother's son... when he was four years old, he was sleeping in the Turtles sleeping bags, wearing the Turtles clothes, playing with the Turtles toys, watching the Turtles show.

"I remember we took him to DisneyWorld, and we got a private audience with the Turtles. I though he was gonna have a heart attack. He was seized with terror and awe."

Biggs the star of American Pie is also currently filming the fourth one of its kind, American Reunion, which is due for release in 2012.
