Zwick Revives Dead Tv Show For Internet Venture....

Movie mogul Ed Zwick is to co-direct and co-produce a revival of ill-fated U.S.TV series Quarterlife to air on social networking website MySpace.com.The show, about a group of young friends living and working in Chicago, Illinois, was a flop when the pilot aired on Abc in 2004.But The Last Samurai director Zwick and his thirtysomething and My So-Called Life co-creator Marshall Herskovitz plan to revisit the series with 36 eight-minute episodes, which will debut on MySpaceTV.com in November (07).Herskovitz tells Daily Variety, "This comes from a longstanding frustration with where the business of television has gone in the last 10 years."Ed and I have a great interest in being independent, and for several years, we've realised the Internet offers that possibility."
